OK, so I need to get some serious dental work done, but as always I find myself lacking in fundage. I may visit some local churches tomorrow and see if there are any charities or perhaps generous dentists who might be able to help. I need allo f my decayed and abcessed roots extracted and a complete set of dentures. A dentist with a sliding scale will cover 65 % of the cost based on my limited fixed income, but I need to raise the other 35 %. Wish me luck, friends. I miss the taste of a fresh, crunchy salad.  I could say some nice things about your hair but would it really matter? |

Good luck...it remind me of one of my friend here...she fly to the Philippines to do all her teeth problems...she said dentist here is so expensive...if I pay $2,000.00 I just buy plane ticket for $900.00 and spend less than $50.00 there and have fun...thanks it remind me to bring the kids to their dentist...happy new year...and make sure your teeth problem will be done soon so you can start eating your favorite food... Call me jean for short mahal

I did mine a few years back...I had to pay in rates... ..I wish you luck in finding a fund raiser to help you pay the cost...take care and hopeful soon you can chew on crunchy salad...     It is the truth in man that sets him free..

You're definitely not kidding about the costs! I just had a root canal done three days ago and even if I were "double covered" through My Blessing (hubby) and I, I still had to freakin' come out of pocket for a total of 686 dollars and some odd cents! Bummer! I hope you reach your fundraising goal! All the best..  I could say some nice things about your hair but would it really matter?

I guess I am lucky.. I don't have a job either.. anymore, but I have a niece that is a dentist, so all of my stuff is done free.. even the root canal I have to get done this Thursday! Sorry.. didn't mean to rub it in.

well.. I did have to pay for that, but she kept it on my nose the whole time she worked on me, which was worth paying for!
